EMERSON POPIL
Emerson Popil is a grade 8 student at Emerald Ridge Elementary School and is a goaltender for the U15A Lightning and the U15 PSMHA Provincial Team. Emerson is a natural leader amongst his peers both on and off the ice and has come highly recommended for this award. Emerson exudes compassion, kindness and has an admirable work ethic that others look up to. Emerson has been volunteering and mentoring younger goalies within the association. He is very encouraging to his younger peers. Although Emerson spends a lot of time at the rink, he also enjoys basketball, golf, snowboarding, being outdoors and is an avid runner for the ERES cross country club.
